Building of Odyssey Lodge 2017-2024

Odyssey Lodge is a remote luxury retreat across the bay from Homer Alaska, located on twenty some acres of wilderness covered in Sitka spruce nestled in Kachemak Bay. The building of Odyssey began in 2017 with the idea to share the beauty of the wild with the outside world, where adventure meets relaxation in Alaska's pristine beauty. This waterfront property has breathtaking views from both China Poot Bay and Peterson Bay, a four-mile boat ride from the end of the Homer Spit. Yet, this property feels very remote and wild, surrounded by wilderness with only ATV roads. Level and gently rolling terrain with spruce and alder, wildlife is plentiful with frequent sightings of otters, Orca whales, seals, juvenile and adult eagles, an occasional black bear, and a large variety of seabirds. A paradise for photographers, kayakers, and hikers, with established trails ready to explore. Explore the beachfront at low tide and climb among the rocks surrounding the sea caves, and enjoy the abundance of sea life intertwined in the rocky cliffs. Or cast a line and land a sockeye salmon or halibut while enjoying the beauty of Kachemak Bay surrounded by snow-capped mountains and volcanoes.
