The Evolution Championship Series, commonly referred to as EVO, is the largest fighting-game event of the year where players gathered in Las Vegas, Nevada to compete in various games for the top prize. EVO’s prestige and prize pool draws in the best competitors from all over the world. The best of the best squared off at the Mandalay Bay Events Arena in Las Vegas after a two-day tournament at the Las Vegas Convention Center Evolution Games to see who would qualify for the top eight competing positions. Among the fighting games in the Champion Final Series were Street Fighter V, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat X, Super Smash Bros. Melee and Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator.
