All Night Game Soiree 2018
Sea Salt Suite, a grassroots organization started in 2015 when two guys, Reid and James, (only wanted to use first names) opened up their hotel suite late night after EVO (Evolutionary Championship Series) tournaments end for the day. By invitation only, they invite their friends from Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore to give the rest of their FGC (fighting game community) from Hawaii playing experience with the best Street Fighter players from Asia during the early morning hours. Hawaii is often times called a bridge between Asian and America, as well as a place that embodies the aloha spirit, a philosophy that emphasizes family and friendship. In that same vein, they used their suite to invite friends from America, Europe, South America, Africa, and Australia as well. Between the two of them, they speak English, Chinese, and Japanese, and also with the help of their other multi-lingual friends, they can facilitate communication and good sportsmanship among everyone.
