India's Grassland Kingdom: Kaziranga
Asia's premier rhino sanctuary and named a World Heritage site in 1985, Kaziranga is a conservation success story, harboring 1,300 wild elephants, 2,000 one-horned rhinos, 1,800 Asiatic wild water buffalo 9,000 hog deer, and hunted to death in much of India, tigers survive in Kaziranga.
