Paritua 2008
On the north island of New Zealand, in Hawkes Bay, this is story of creating a vineyard on land that was previously a sheep ranch before it started producing wine. It was named Paritua, which means “meandering stream above the ancient water,” a tribute to the Paritua Stream which flows throughout the vineyard. Paritua is a connection with the people of New Zealand and the land that it was created on in Bridge Pa Triangle. Surrounded by rolling hills, gravel soils, long summers, it makes ideal conditions to create exceptional wines.
