Salt Of The Earth

Workers brave highly concentrated chemicals and toil in stifling heat to produce the

shining piles of salt that line the shores of Lake Katwe. This Photo Journal is a journalistic, stylistic, thematic photo essay in National Geographic magazine. A personal narrative accompanies the images written by the photographer.
